PAI Students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Win Bronze Medal at Nusantara Creative Competition 4
YOGYAKARTA – Another remarkable achievement has been earned by students of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FITK), UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Four PAI students from the 2024 cohort—Almulhaminna Azham, Rafli Zidan Najibu Daud, Amelia Gita Amanda, and Riza Febry Aidilia—successfully won a Bronze Medal in the Essay category, Education subtheme, at the Nusantara Creative Competition (NCC) 4.
The competition was held in Bali on September 19–20, 2026, and was organized by Lembaga Setara Prisma Nusantara (Nusantara Muda) in collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University. NCC 4 provided a platform for students to develop creativity, critical thinking, and academic writing skills while presenting ideas through competitive essay writing.
The achievement of the PAI student team in securing a Bronze Medal in the Education subtheme is a source of pride for the academic community. It demonstrates the students’ enthusiasm for strengthening their academic abilities while presenting educational ideas through a national-level competition.
The four students, all members of the 2024 cohort of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, are Almulhaminna Azham, Rafli Zidan Najibu Daud, Amelia Gita Amanda, and Riza Febry Aidilia. Their participation also provided valuable experience in developing ideas, constructing arguments, working collaboratively as a team, and presenting perspectives on contemporary educational issues.
This achievement further reflects the commitment of PAI students to strengthening academic traditions and a culture of scholarly inquiry. Through essay writing, students are encouraged not only to develop their writing skills but also to critically examine educational issues and formulate relevant ideas for the advancement of education.
