Undergraduate Thesis Registration Flow During The COVID-19 Pandemic

1. The thesis has received approval from the supervisor to be validated.
2. Register for online final exam at SIA through the akademik.uin-suka.ac.id
3. Register for the final exam with the study program admin via WhatsApp.
4. Submit the softcopy final exam requirements via WhatsApp.
5. Submit a hard copy of the final exam requirements file (which can be after the final exam) to the study program.
6. The supervisor determines the schedule and technicality of the final exam session.
7. The study program determines the examiner of the final exam.
8. The study program admin processes invitations, minutes, and other supporting files until they reach the test team and students.
9. The testing team conducts the session according to the agreed schedule and technicality.
10. The chairman of the final exam trial is responsible for the files of the final exam trial (minutes and scores) to submit to the study program admin.
11. The study program admin processes the final exam data and inputs it into the SIA.

 

Administrative Requirements

Registered as an active student of UIN Sunan Kalijaga in the academic year and semester when registering.
Have completed theory, minimum 100 credits.
Minimum overall course grade C.
There are no courses with an E grade, as evidenced by the KHS.
Has fulfilled the administrative requirements that have been determined by the Faculty/Prodi.
Include the thesis in the KRS with a weight of 0 credits.

 

Proposal Submission Procedure

Submit 3 thesis themes to the Study Program with the knowledge of the Academic Advisory Lecturer (DPA), as evidenced by the DPA's signature on the Thesis Proposal submission form.
Prepare proposals according to the theme approved by the Study Program.
Submit a proposal -with the knowledge of DPA- to the Study Program to get a Thesis Advisory Lecturer (DPS).
Students consult with DPS regarding the proposals they have prepared.
If DPS considers that the proposal is adequate, a proposal seminar will be held and openly attended by other students from the same faculty.


Research Permissions

Students take care of research permits, both research in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) and outside the DIY area. Research permits are based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs number 64 of 2011 concerning Guidelines for Issuing Research Recommendations. In the DIY region, it refers to the Regulation of the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta number 18 of 2009 concerning guidelines for licensing services, recommendations for conducting surveys, research, data collection, development, assessment, and field studies in DIY. Research permits for PAI Study Program are processed by the Faculty.
 

Proposal Seminar Procedure During The Pandemic

After getting the Thesis Advisory Lecturer (DPS) and the communication process with DPS, the next process:

1. Students register for a proposal seminar at the Academic Information System (SIA).
2. Students upload proposals to SIA.
3. Academic Advisory Lecturer (DPA) ACC proposal in SIA (Students are advised to notify DPA).
4. DPS will ACC the proposal in SIA for the seminar (Students are advised to notify DPS).
5. Students register with the study program admin by submitting the requirements determined by the study program.
6. DPS determines the schedule and technical implementation of the seminar.
7. Admin processes the minutes and inputs data into the SIA.
8. Students return the minutes of the seminar proposal to the study program admin.
